Temple famous for curing illness due to spider bites.Lore has it that the deity has powers to cure the spider bites .The infected persons are getting cure after 7 days by eating the prasadam(kadali pazham) and applying bhashmam(viboothi).The place and the temple surroundings are really calm and quiet.This temple is managed by TDB.Morning and evening temple is open for worship.The main festival is being celebrated in the Malayalam month of Vrischikam(Karthika).
