Pinto Bar & Restaurant - Bar in Varca - South Goa, India

I had heard a lot about Pintos but did not reach to my expectations. Mr Tendulkar , the head waiter... he is a sweet gentleman was very kind and generous. We ordered chixken lollipop which was great. Goan fish curry and rice which was average. No other seafood was available. Atmosphere was strictly ok .. mainly locals who just come for a drink.

Sadly not what it was like in 2019. I guess this is mainly to drink more than ordering something to eat. It had almost the same decor since 2019 and very less man power to handle a group. There were about 8 of us, though the waiter was sweet and warm and also old - he couldn't keep track of all our orders. Our orders took almost 45min to arrive, and on top of that there were some mix up with the orders. I had great expectations, but sadly wouldn't return again!

Good food and budget friendly..

Been to Pinto for a takeaway about 4 years ago while passing by Varca. This time happened to stay at Varca for a couple of days. Went here for dinner. No frills place. Good food. Staff is just receptive, could improve. Basic place. Better options to try at Varca.

Used to be much better. The owner died last year, missing his aura.

Nice laid back local bar.. goan vibes.

Poor service. Had to wait 45mins even when it was less crowded
