Great experience!!
The food is delicious and freshly prepared. The staff is friendly. Banana flower curry is amazing while lemon Nana is super refreshing. On our recent trip to Hampi our guide took us to this amazing place. We were tired and traditional seating was a welcoming site. We rested there peacefully after ordering our food. Staying in a posh hotel we didn't get decent food and were not expecting good food but we were surprised.
It was also heart warming to see one of the staff member helping a foreigner who found the traditional specially prepared non spicy food also spicy.
It was evident that they also felt the warmth and love and appreciated it deeply.
We were so impressed that we went in evening too for ginger tea and were not disappointed.
The location is good and the menu has a lot of variety.The food tastes great but the drawback is the quantity of serving. Might be economical for 2-3 people but if more than that then it seems like wastage of money.The staff was friendly but the service was very poor as they kept us waiting for our food even though we were the only customers at that time.
A superb restaurant in unique location.
Earlier we used to try only around Tungabhadra. We visited Hampi this time just after the lockdown and Pink Mango was our saviour when all other eateries were shut.
Splendid service, awesome delicacies, multi-variety cuisines. Relaxing ambience, cozy atmosphere. This will be a must visit eatery in Hampi for us here-on.
Loved the ambience and the food. The service is fast and the owner(i think he's the owner) was also serving. He really knows how to make customers happy. Thali was delicious. The seating is floor level on mattresses but comfortable. You can relax and lay down if its not too crowded. On a hot sunny day at Hampi, this place was cool and cozy. We enjoyed it. Will recommend this place. We went for lunch and I think dinner would also be good with the night lights and separate menu, that they have for dinner.
Me n my friend were too much tierd after visiting temple n surroundings n were hungry n was waiting for the perfect place to get off the carving. That is where we found this hotel until it turned out a bad experience for us till then...we ordered Butter naan n they gave parota applied with some butter n coming to main cource we ordered paneer biryani they just gave a mixed normal rice n one of the guy is pretending saying that salt n pepper was not mixed properly as if we haven't tasted biryani before. We saw other groups as well complaining about the food. Though we haven't paid for the loss but still if ur jumping just be careful once we sit there we can't go anywhere....just a dumb people working there...even the hygienic is not good they walk on the bed which is given to sit for customers...uggg...
Looks like a popular place. Seating is on the floor. Will not be comfortable for many. Very average food. South Indian thali is ok. Expensive for the quality and location. Place is crowded on weekends. Some tour guides bring their clients to this hotel, with advance reservation.
This is an efficient, tasty eatery just off the main drag at Hampi. Westerners easily accommodated at tables or settees. All food safe and spicy, as far as we could tell. Fast service, too. A favorite of the guides given its location. Recommended.
Visited this restaurant for lunch last week, poor service, we were denied meals as the waiter/owner said that it's exhausted and were forced to order other items. Within few minutes they took order for meals from new customer. When confronted the owner rudely replied that now the meals are ready but few back it was not. When I asked to cancel the order he said that the food is already ready.....and immediately got the food....which was not hot.....seems like had been prepared long back...... Moreover the place is small and play very loud music, we got the table which is next to the speaker, sound was unbearable, asked to reduce the volume....the owner/waiter rudely denied.
