This is a statue at the road side, opposite to the huge Hussain Sagar Lake. You don't need any ticket or special entrance to see this statue. There are a few other statues erected in memory of state's and nation's famous personalities.

Every telugu-speaking person will know who Pingali Venkaya is. The famous Indian freedom fighter and the designer of the flag on which the Indian national flag was based. Statue is a reminder of this great person.
