Pinewood Guest House - Hotel in Kotagiri, Kattabettu - The Nilgiris, India

Good Location, behind resort small river is running. All around greenery. Small kids play area. Very good looking Resort in reachable location. Overall Maintenance is good. Food taste is moderate. Food Charges are like 3 star hotels. Geysers are not working in my room. But they have given hot water whenever i want. Only Carom available to play. 4-5 cars can park freely. No room heaters available. Don't expect any other service from here. We feel only food charges are high here. Comparing to nearby hotels really food is over priced and not tasty like hotels.

Lovely place! Staff is very friendly and courteous. Food is provided on request and is tasty! We were a group of 7 and stayed in the dorm. The place was clean and situated in a serene and peaceful location. Overall a wonderful experience!

Best place to stay if you are going to visit Ooty. In Ooty it is so crowded and rooms are costly. Pinewood offers very good rooms for nominal price where you even get foods prepared by the cook there. I am being vegetarian, I liked the food very much the food offered is nothing fancy like u get in restaurants but it was like home made food and tasty. Overall I would highly recommend this place if your planning for an Ooty trip.

This is a part of Oyo now. Clean rooms, away from the city. Food is made by the caretakers themselves and is good. There's nothing much to see close by unless you travel to Coonoor or to Ooty

Budget place,on the Coonoor-Kotagiri route.Easily accessible by buses from Kotagiri or Coonoor.Rooms with scenic views from the Balcony.(The Hotel Manager,Suresh let us choose our rooms)Only negative- No restaurant in the Hotel,so gotta travel to other restaurants in the vicinity.Highly recommended.

No connectivity with main city. No food available. No basic amenities available. Even fan is not available. Geyser works in very few rooms and most of the room switches aren't functional at all.

I already posted comment about this place. Really very nice and calm place. Foods are amazing. Car parking little cramped.

We had breakfast and the breakfast was complimentary. Overall we had a fantastic stay in this property for their wonderful services and facilities.
