Pineridge Hotel - Hotel in Darjeeling - East District, India

The most horrible hotel in Darjeeling. I had terrible experience in the hotel with my family. The bedsheets and the furnitures were very dirty, didn't even wash the the bed cover. There was no electricity in the night. Even the generator was off. I had a quarrel with the staffs over it and I asked for the manager's number. But when I called him around 10.30 after several rings he picked up and talked to me. He assured me he will do something about it and would talk to the staffs. But leter when I again called the staffs they told me that the manager has told them to switch on the generator for 15 mins only. After listening that I called the manager again and the phone was switched off. Just because the payment was done beforehand they were not even bothered, cause they knew we will be gone the very next day. What so ever, except the location not a single thing is good about the hotel. If you want to spend your holidays in Darjeeling don't ruin it by staying here . Please trust me ! I go to Darjeeling very often, you will get other good hotels in this price.

Excellent hotel in excellent location. Spacious rooms . Antique furniture. Service is very good. My request is not to spread rumours that it's an old fashioned hotel ,,no services. It's a very good hotel at an affordable price to stay just on the Mall .

Pine ridge hotel is at one of the most prime locations of Darjeeling. Still most people avoid this hotel. One reason might be that cars do not come at the doorstep of the hotel and another one is the maintenance. Rooms are spacious, have old British furniture like fireplace and all. Still everything is dusty and rusty. We had to take lunch from the hotel as we reached late and it was very bad. Not only that, I forgot my jacket there in the room and when I called them for that, they straight away denied that. Such dishonest people!

One of the best stays on Mall road, Darjeeling. Rooms are neat and clean with vintage furnitures. Staffs are very polite and co-operative. Room tariff is reasonable. Visit YouTube channel "Travel Freak Oindrila" for detailed information about this property.

The best location you can ever get in Darjeeling.. Just on top of Mall. The interiors are completely spellbounding with its antique british furnitures.. Don't believe the haunted rumours.. We used to stay here multiple times with kids and family.. Pleasant stay with clear Kanchenjunga view

It's very neer to Mall. Only 1 minute walk. Very heritage property with nice maintanance of British flavours. Room No 218 where we stayed for night is very heritage. Beds are little bit short in size. Other wise all are very excellent.

Stayed in room no. 230 between 23rd June to 25 June 2023. Brilliant location but that's the only good point. Rooms are dirty, with paints peeling off. Antique furniture that last saw a coat of varnish perhaps during the British era. Corridors with overflowing dirty bins. Service conspicuous by its absence.

Location is good , as the per the location the tariff was on the cheaper side . We took a room for three which has two beds . It was very spacious, vintage furnitures and lot's more . Though various rumours are there , like the hotel is haunted, but may be because of their ambience. We stayed there for three days and we felt nothing spooky .
