Pine Tree Spa Resort, Darjeeling - Hotel in Pandam Tea Garden - Darjeeling, India

Firstly I Booked a room by seeing the photos but the actual room is totally different. Secondly hotel management won't care at all about poor reviews. They just write thank you for your feedback and ....but in actual they won't work on it. No hot water post morning 9 am. Breakfast is worse and you will get better outside their hotel. The service was very poor in the restaurant. For room heater they charge 300 and that heater is only useful if you are very close to it otherwise for the whole room it's not useful. 1 star is just for its location which is at 2 min walking distance from the famous market in Darjeeling.

Much cleaner than the other hotel I stayed at in Darjeeling. Also more spacious. Food was awesome but a bit pricey. Be careful that you have to place order for tandoori items much in advance. Overall great experience.

I recently discovered Pinetree Resort and Spa in Darjeeling and it was an absolute delight. The rooms were well-appointed with all necessary amenities and the staff was welcoming and attentive. Highly recommended for a relaxing and rejuvenating stay!

We were Staying in Room No 207, The Most basic thing hot water never came in Taps for 2 days. When Enquired with Maintenance he was so Arrogant,he said that's all he can do. So Next time please think Twice while booking Pine Tree, Don't go by Internet pic's,all are false Worst Room Experience

Everything is ok, the thing I don't like is the way they charged me 200 extra by saying that I have damaged their hand towel whereas it is only dirty. When I asked for the towel that I'm paying you for the towel give it to me, they told me it is already gone for wash but we don't use it further. They charged me 200 and not given the towel too. This is not the way to charge extra. I've faced this issue 1st time.

I was reading reviews and hotel's reply to their customers. In every review they said they would improve but I am not sure if they really care. We thought it would be a good budgeted hotel with convenient location. Well, the checkin was smooth. We were given room 401 which was large room with a great window view. The bed linen and towels were fresh. Room came with complimentary water, tea and coffee. After checkin in we noticed the toilet seat cover was unclean and noticed front desk. The person said he would send someone to check but it never happened. I pour hot water to clean it. The bathroom needs deep cleaning as the walls, floor corners and sink was full of moulds. The water pressure in shower was great. The bathroom came with basic amenities i. e. Soap, shampoo, lotion and a tiny toilet roll which was never refilled by housekeeping. If you are use to dry hair aftrr shower please bring your own hair drier. A small room heater was never enough for this large room btw. The dining area was freezing cold in morning and evening where we had to go for breakfast and dinner. The hotel didn't have any heating in place in the dining area. I really don't get it when darjeeling has tourists round the year, why not heating system improved in hotels. And yes, you have to pay extra for room heaters. Warm food was served for breakfast and dinner. You have somewhat wide chocie of tasty food. The toaster was faulty. However! The wrost experience was their wifi. Although hotel amenities promise a high speed wifi, in real it was weakest wifi ever. Complained a several times but nothing improved. The connection was disrupted throughout our stay. Hotel staff were polite. I think it's the management issue. Future guests, if you care about services think twice before booking.
