Relatives of the deceased who are doing PIND DAAN also get blessings from the departed soul, which it is believed, brings about strong influence in the life of Relatives of the deceased

For all those coming from outside .please note down the following : 1. Bring with you Cow Milk , Dish ,Rice Flour ,Jackfruit leaves ,Ghee,Honey .Rest all items u will get it in Gaya itself. 2. There are Pandas who will charge hefty dakshina .It all depends guys if u wanna pay u must pay. otherwise u can directly go to Ghat in Pinddaan sivir and can ask any Brahman to get your rituals done . 3. There lot of kunds where u need to do ur Pinddaan .but it will take more time and you need to have 2-3 days in ur hands . 4. If u are planning to do it on the same day u can do at Vishnupad kund,Falgu ghat and Pret Shila( in case of a sudden death) 5. not much good hotels to have food there better u don't order meal instead u can order light breakfast like Puri Sabji,lassi etc . 6. Pitri Paksh is very crowded time but this is the best time to pray for the Moksha of you ancestors .

All the Pandit's especially the bihari pandits here are only interested in collecting money from the people those who come to perform pind pradaan to their ancestors.. those pandits will only allow us to drop our pindas near Vishnu pad if we give atleast Rs 50/-. Those pandits are not actually pandits but they are vasool rajas or vasool gundas, typical bihari attitude. Need to be very careful with those idiots

I visited Gaya Tirth along with my wife and younger brother and his wife in Sep. 2021 for PIND DAAN. My experience was very positive regarding satisfactory PUJA conducted by Pandit ji and all were very cooperative during my stay at Gaya Tirth.
