a totally different experience. if you are in alibaug nd you love art then this is the place you can visit . a huge collection of art from this genius . donot order any food or drink ,not good . but this place will make you silent for sometime .
Well maintained museum. Not so known to general public as other artists Hussain, Raza or Gaitonde but if you visit this place then you will surely google for more details on Mr Dashrath Patel
Well maintained art gallery. No entrance fee.
Quite a sad experience. Their attitude shows they care two hoots for customers. Come, don't come. They could be least bothered. Chartered a special speed boat from Mumbai to visit them with my designer. They couldn't be bothered that you've spent so much money and a good part of the day just to visit them. It was not a casual drop in. Very limited stuff on display. Sales person says we encourage people not to come here and to buy online. Difficult to commit tens of lacs of rupees to such sellers. Definitely decided not to go ahead with them.
Shop is fantastic and staff was so polite. Great hospitality.
It is located near the Mandwa jetty the place inside is filled with trees and grass. The museum itself has a few relics to show but the overall feel inside the building is serene. There is also a gift shop to buy designer crockery
Nice place with paintings and artifacts all made by one person relatively unknown for common public. Mr Dashrath Patel's amazing work is maintained and displayed quite tastefully by hia disciple Mr Pinakin Patel for the common public and art lovers. They do have some products for sale and a Cafe. It is right close to Alibaug Mandwa Road near Chondhi and it is 10 kms from both Alibaug and Mandwa and 3 mns from Kihim beach. Worth visiting for a short visit.
Decent parking place , a different experience in alibag....would recommend it to people who have interest in art. Has a pretty Cafe under the trees. Prices would not suit everyone though.
