Pillala Marri Mini Zoo & Deer Park - Zoo in Mahbubnagar - Mahabubnagar, India

My children enjoy it a lot. Unfortunately, Banyan trees have not yet opened in recent days. The children's playground has improved very lot all are rusty one

Pillala marri has a great history. It has a lord shiva temple and dargah. There is large park only for Deers(view is beautiful). There are many kinds of birds and few animals.

Nice Place But Not Worth

Nice place to visit and good to go with kids..my nephew enjoyed it

The park is well known for 800 years old Banyan tree.Visitors are not allowed to enter near or touch the tree.The tree is thus protected from spoiling by public.An elevated place is erected(in metal) to see the tree,but the grand spread of it is not visible fully. The Zoo is not having large variety of animals.Birds,fishes two crocodiles are main attractions. Museum is a worthy area to be seen with a wide collection and display of very old stone God/Godesses(of 12th century and onwards) Parking area is well maintained.

This place is known after two Muslim brother Saint who's grave is under this tree and People use to call this Place after them as Peeran Marri. This place is a blessed place. In 80 and 90 we use to climb on this tree , It was very much green and healthy that time.

People can visit the pillalamarri park but banyan tree campus can't. The banyan tree campus has been closed to not allow visitors in. Get well soon banyan tree!

A small zoo with a not so bad collection animals and a significantly large deer park with a large deer population. Worthy of a visit if you are the Great Banyan Tree nearby. Also this place has a number of varieties of birds, especially pigeons. The place is neat and clean and you can safely take your kids here.
