PIGGY Calangute - Backpacker Hostel in Calangute - North Goa, India

Bad, I recently stayed at PIGGY Calangute by Urban Nomads, and I must say, it was a disappointing experience. The air conditioning in the room was non-functional, making it nearly unbearable in the Goan heat. The flush in the bathroom was also not working, which was inconvenient and unhygienic. The cleaning service was subpar, and it was evident that proper maintenance was lacking. To make matters worse, there was no generator available during power outages, and the water supply wasn't functioning in the morning, leaving us without basic amenities. I would strongly advise against staying here until these issues are addressed and resolved.

I recently booked a stay at Piggy Hostel, and it was a complete disaster. The rooms were cramped, dirty, and reeked of musty odors. The staff was unfriendly and showing no interest in addressing our concerns. To top it off, the Wi-Fi was practically non-existent, making it impossible to stay connected. I would strongly advise avoiding this hostel unless you enjoy torturing yourself.

We stayed here for 4 days. Had the best experience over all. Spacious room, centre of location, accessible to all amenities in just 200-300 m, right next to calangute beach and the most important part is the best and friendly service provided by Thejas the property manager. Have stayed in many places before but haven't experienced such a hospitality. Must visit!!!

it's good place to stay if you are a solo traveller or with group of friends. sharing a dorm with friends is a great experience. Reminded the college days. Staffs are very friendly and the location is very nice. just 2,3 min walkable distance from Beach.

The rooms lacked cleanliness and tidiness, while the room services were quite disappointing. There were issues with the water supply in the rooms, and both the fans and AC were not functioning properly. Moreover, the management displayed an arrogant attitude. I strongly advise against choosing Piggy Hostel Calangute for your stay. The arrogant and unprofessional staff, lack of running water, malfunctioning air conditioners, non-existent fans, non-operational pool, appalling maintenance, rude behavior, unclean toilets, and overall poor value for money make it an extremely regrettable choice. Save yourself the frustration and disappointment by selecting an alternative accommodation option that genuinely cares about its guests' comfort and satisfaction.

I loved staying here. Close to Calangute beach . If you are a solo traveler or a group of 6-10 people then this could be a good budget hotel . good natural Vibe are there due to greenery and sufficient space to chill out, outside the rooms and dormitory and it was the only reason i liked this place. Caution: you may find some travelers testing their capacity to absorb more and more Alcohol and after effects of it.

We had an exceptionally poor experience at the restaurant, unlike anything we had ever encountered before. The photos they provided did not accurately depict the actual appearance of the place. Furthermore, the room was poorly cleaned, the AC was not functioning, there was no fan, and to make matters worse, the room was flooded with water from the AC. the staff behaved rudely towards us. The package we paid for was supposed to include access to the pool, but they did not provide it. Moreover, the resort was infested with mosquitoes. To make matters worse, basic amenities were severely lacking. The tap water in our rooms was not running properly, leaving us struggling to even perform the most basic hygiene routines. It was highly inconvenient and unacceptable for a supposedly reputable hostel to have such water supply issues. In conclusion i suggest all dont take this resort because of their rude behaviour and fraudulent acting

Awesome place to stay in Calangute. just 500 mtr from beach. People are very friendly and response properly on time. The temperature of AC was extremely chilled all the time but couldn't do anything because had to share the dorm with other people.
