Where should I start? This place changed my idea of hospitality. Truly a hidden gem if you are looking for laid-back royal experience. This was a busy weekend and I was the only boarder. I was the only one taking trip in the fort as well. And the hospitality... just wow! All of this at the most reasonable price. Skip your Udaipur, Jodhpur, Jaipur and head Kishangarh!!!!

Thanks for the warm hospitality by Mr Kishor Upadhyay, the manager and team, especially Sonu, Deepak. The location, environment, room, garden all are simply awesome. Food options to be widened with justified quantity against value. The following may be noted: 1. Keep your kids under vigilance, due to vicinity of lake. 2. If you are staying here, you can pay Rs 350/ person to have a one hour guided tour to Fort, which is not open to public. 3. Cab/ auto at justified cost is arranged. 4. Fort and this Palace can be rented for special occasions. 5. Parking area is adequate. 6. Room 105 at ground floor is recommended. 7. Visit the backside lawn and open space. 8. Online booking page will not work at payment gateway. Talk directly to Mr Kishor for bank details. 9. Do order food, atleast 1 hour before schedule
This is not a Taj or Oberoi kind of heritage property. However, it is very well kept, clean, and functional. The staff is courteous and the food is good. The place exudes peace and a deep reverberance of its past majestic grandeur. An honour and privilege to have been able to spend a night here.
It is an excellent heritage propert with lot of open spaces and unmatched view to lake. Rooms are fairly large and has minimum facilitaties. What is pulling it down is poor maintenance, untrained staff, non-operational restaurant, and lack of zeal to upgrade it.
Nice small heritage hotel. I should give a three star for the facilities available but giving five as we had a very nice time with so many of my friends and our families. Staff is extraordinarily helpful and courteous. Great place.
This is one of the best fort palaces that you will ever get to stay. Add to it the super cool view of the lake and cool evening breeze coupled with the tasty food and awesome service. Truly worth every penny that you spend here. And service in Indian hotels, if its not a 5 star is still a rarity (my terrible exp with Hotel Tunga Paradise in Mumbai). Will definitely recommend it for a leisurely weekend break.
