PG HALDIA - Boy's Hostel in Haldia - Medinipur East, India

I had stayed there for 1 Month for the Internship at IOCL Haldia. The Behaviour of Caretaker is too Bad. He will not take your call in Night if you face any problem( One night it was Raining so i didn't went out to eat before 10PM and i ordered pizza. After 30 minutes pizza guy came and called me to open the door but He never picked the phone so at that night I have to sleep without eating).*The worst Experience you will ever get*. [About Price= This is too Expensive, You can get rooms for about 1/4 of the price that he will asks.] He Never Opens the common Area for Any people and Also Bathroom are also dirty. Looks like bathroom has not been cleaned for 2-3 Months. In morning for About 4-5 days there was no water. [You can get Rooms in Gandhinagar Area for 1/4 of the price or besides Municipality also.

Worst experience not worth the asking price. Don't get fooled by the positive ratings!. I had no option but to opt for this in short notice however if you have some time in hand there are tons of other good pgs in City Center area which you can opt for at a much reasonable price and much better experience too. The owner of this pg is an Architect by profession and yet the design/planning of the building and it's rooms are atrocious to say the least. The cleanliness is also not at par and even when I requested multiple times for cleaning the bathroom as the drain got jammed they didn't listened.

Good comfortable home stay feelings at reasonable cost. Clean n comfortable room. You only need to bring your bedsheet n blanket. TV, Hot water, Kitchen service, Room/ Toilet cleaning daily. Available with AC n non AC.

This a one & only place for working male outsiders to stay with meals in Haldia. The rooms are well maintained, with the facility for separate rooms and AC, if required. I've enjoyed hustle free living here for one & half years stay here while posted at Haldia. Regards - Pijush Sarkar, Superintendent of Central GST.
