Safe place to stay with family. The staffs are very kind and prompt to service. The food was good, Thanks to the chef. Room choice - Stay in first floor. Better view with nice balcony Suggestion 1. Fix a bigger geyser in the room 101 as it accommodates 6 people. 2. Fix bathroom pipes as there is a major leakage

We had a very pleasant stay at Petra!! Very good location and is just a walk away from sholayar Dam which allows you to experience both sunset and sunrise view. One of the best hospitality we received in the recent times. All the Staffs right from booking, manager, housekeeping staffs especially Mr.Selvaraj were friendly and treated us with delight.Delicious food served on the terrace with live counter by Chef Rajendran n team. Very very neat and spacious room with Wi-Fi service. Over all 100% value for money

This is the place to go if you want to experience Indian culture and hospitality. Staffs are welcoming and mindful. One of the best chefs serves exquisite homely South Indian cuisine on the terrace so that we can take in the scenery while we dine. Hot water for drinking is also available. Not to miss the Idly sambar for breakfast. The finest place to remain safe and tranquilly is Petra,in the quietest part of the woodland. You are advised not to walk around at night. Just observe the variety of plants and animals that inhabit the rocks.

Beautiful resort located in Peaceful location. The rooms are very clean and neat. Very very safe to stay. The food they prepare is in top quality and good in taste. Staffs, manager and the owner of the resort are very welcoming and helpful. Better order your menu before you reach there or once you reach there, bcz they have to buy ingredients according to your food requirement. Overall i loved it.

Clean and comfortable rooms in the middle of the woods. Great food that is made live on the roof with views. Very kind and receptive staff too. Highly recommend it for anyone visiting Valparai. Just that it's a bit away from the city centre, but overall a cozy getaway spot from the bustle.

Nice guest house near sholiyar Dam. Dam is 500 meters from guest house. Guest house is 20 kms after Valparai town. Rooms are clean. We stayed in 1 big room and 1 small room for a day each. Food is tasty. They check if we are coming for lunch or dinner so that it can be prepared. Complimentary breakfast is limited but tasty. Guest house is owned by Christians. There is a Bible or some other book related to Christianity in each room. This should be avoided since hotel, guest house is used for staying by people of all religions.

One of the worst stay ever. We where seven families and booked the entire property. Rooms where very small, stinky, fans don run properly. The room is located 25 kms away from valparai. every time we need to travel that 25 kms for sight seeing and get back the same kms which is very difficult on hills. Service is worst everything you order they hesitate to serve and ask for one time order. its just not a home stay its just a hostel run by old people they say only once we can cook and serve till a prescribed timing.They dont even have space to dry our wet cloths instead if we dry on the plants they say the beauty of their property will spoil. The manager is just a warden who just know to say no and we cant. So folks better save your money and opt something better.
