Periyar Waterfalls. - Tourist attraction in Nochchimedu - Kallakurichi, India

It's an excellent tourist spot which located on the road. Parking is limited but has a falls which safe for kids too. The floor may be slippery but good to have a bath with family.There is a dress changing room too but be cautious about insects inside. They charge for rupee 10 for adults and rupee 5 for kids.

A small waterfall in kalvarayan hills, best to visit during December after the monsoon rains in October and November. They used to allow to trek above the falls but now it is closed. Best to take kids along. Better if it's not crowded.

It is very amazing place After taking a bath at there I feel good.

Periyar Waterfalls are located in the Villupuram district of the south Indian state of Tamil Nadu. The ideal time to visit these falls is in the months of September to December, during the post monsoon season. Periyar Falls are in close proximity with the Vellimalai village. The flow of water becomes less during the summer months and the cascade is usually flooded with the rains. The local people enjoy bathing at the Periyar Falls, as it feels quite safe. The main source of water to the cascade is the south east monsoon rainfall.

Water falls is a great view.Very chill at this winter season.Just 30 Km From Kallakuruchi just a one day trip is enough. Beautiful.

Nominal place. Less water when we visited. 12-jun. Dress change room available for ladies. Kids can enjoy here. Entry charge 10 rs per head.

This falls is good for family and kids. Little slippery nowadays. Ladies dress changing room is also there but not to expect to much clean.

Perfect place to enjoy, not necessary to go to kutralam for water falls and hill ride to ooty, kodaikanal, instead this place is enough. Just Entry fee Rs10 for Adult and Rs5 for Kids. Really you can Enjoy.
