Newly renovated and spacious bus stand.
Basic amenities could definitely be better. Atleast basic seating for passengers waiting for their buses would be appreciated. There are sufficient tea shops, restaurants, bakeries etc for convenience of travellers. There is also a pay and use public restroom but which can definitely be maintained much better. One of the few popular outstation bustands of madurai.
Bus stand to pick up local buses to travel within madurai city.. Also, lot of bus travels in and around this complex.. You could find small shops with tasty foods like goat soups, rose milk, milk guava, etc.. Fruit shops, mobile accessories.. Sometimes you need to have gymnastic skills to catch buses.. Paid toilet available..
