Perantapalli Sivalayam - Hindu temple in Parentapalle - West Godavari, India

This place is very good and we can spend good time except for emergency cases. Because no hospital and no Mobile signals also. The view is very good and peaceful.

A very calm and divine place welcoming all religious people here. Looks like a very old place of worship for locals. Filled with lush green trees and big mango trees everywhere. Tribals offer flowers and the water from a nearby water stream which comes down from the bill above.

Here you can buy baboo toys made by local tribes, there is a small water falls near temple you have wash your legs at water falls before you visit shivalayam.

Isolated, strict, peaceful, worthy watching. Should not talk, should not make more sound, should not give dakshna.

The Lord Shiva Temple is so peaceful and serene. This Shiva temple has no priest, no offerings are allowed and we have to ring the bell only once. This tradition has been prevailing since many years. The instructions about the tradition was written on a board in temple premises. The idol of Lord Shiva was under the shade of a Serpent. There is a beautiful waterfall is present nearby the temple. The atmosphere around the temple is so beautiful.

Visit this place of natural splendid before it disappears as the Polavaram dam works will submerge this area too. If it occurred, we can miss a great, scenic and famous Godavari river cruise upto Perantapalli. We have gone to this place one year back in January and visited this nature blessed temple. A small cascade with perennial water is always flowing nearer to this temple. A small ashram is also there.
