Cozy and welcoming homestay next to many sights and services of Fort Kochi. Located in a quite peaceful and nice neighbourhood. Everything went smoothly with the hosts and they were super helpful and even organized a tuk tuk ride for us very early in the morning Definitely recommend staying at their place if you're looking for a safe and homey place!

Great location, great hospitality. Veey clean rooms and beds. Overall great maintenance. Very spacious house with two balconies and common spaces. Kitchen facility available and also things for tea and hot water provided. Cooperative and helpful host. Enjoyed the stay here. Next time again. :)

Great location, very helpful host. Multiple guests staying in other rooms with a shared kitchen, but still quiet and private enough and a completely separate living area from the family downstairs. Would definitely stay again!

I stayed at Peniel Residency for about a month and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The property is located at a stone's throw from St. Francis Church and other sights in Fort Kochi. The auto rickshaw stand, ferry terminal and bus stop are all within 1 km radius. The house per se is maintained well by Roy and his family. All doors and windows have a mosquito protection mesh (and I cannot emphasize how much of a nuisance mosquitoes are in Kochi). So, that was indeed helpful. I was able to access the kitchen and washing machine at a nominal additional monthly charge. The room, the kitchen and the living areas were cleaned 2-3 times during the month-long stay. I received full cooperation from Roy and his son Nikki on all aspects during my long stay and I wholeheartedly recommend this place to one and all.

Convenient but nice and quiet. Pleasant balcony, clean room and bathroom. Joice made me a variety of Lovely Keralan breakfasts. I was on my own and my hosts were very helpful, friendly and supportive, making my stay easier. I was well looked after and had all the quiet and privacy I wanted. Lovely hosts. I felt quite at home.

The family is extremely helpful and very friendly. They helped us book several tours and shows, and I felt I got my money's worth. We even did a cooking class. The room was comfortable and private. Word of warning, no hot water in the shower. However, it was hot outside so the cool water was refreshing anyway.

(+)The beds are big and comfortable, complimentary breakfast (+) The owner was friendly (+) Near to sight seeing places. (-) They have only solar operated hot water, it works only when it's sunny, the day when we had gone had heavy rain n hence no hot water. They should fix geysers to help all weather. (-) They charge extra for kitchen take over for cooking (-) Cleaniness would have been better (-) They don't have much breakfast option, limited to one.
