Kamthikhairy Dam, also called Pench Dam, is on the Pench river near Parshivni in the state of Maharashtra, India. The dam was constructed for irrigation, and supplies water to two districts of Maharashtra, Nagpur and Bhandara. The dam is located in the West Pench National Park Range, surrounded by forested hills, and is 54 km north of Nagpur.

Its huge, scenic and worth going place. The ecosystem here gives you fresh and soothing feeling. The location is picturesque and quiet There are small roadside eateries here serving murmura bhel and some snacks. You can drive car here easily. Best time to visit is monsoon as all the gates of the dam are open.

The Pench reservoir is good place for outing. Nearby place Kunwara Bhimsen is good for family picnic.
