Muslim religion place, but non muslims can be seen here as well. Adjacent to shrine is Jamia Masjid where Friday is offered. Huge gathering can be observed on Thursday. One can get transport from Satwari chowk. Approx 3 km from satwari chowk and jammu airport. This shrine has location close to airport runway.
This is a religious place of BUDAN ALI SHAH JI . Situated within JAMMU . With full Security near by. Place is very well maintained and there is rush usually on Thursdays only Fakirs sit in a line outside the mosque to collect Daan ( daan ) ( dn ) . Very soothing place. In our childhood we often come to this place mainly on Thursday's the day of peer. This is a very famous peer baba of satwari and a lot of stories are told for this place. This is near to jammu airport and it is told that once airport authority wanted to remove this place for airport expansion but some untoward incidents started to happening with airport so they dropped plan.
Symbol of religious Pluralism. The sweet association of Peer Baba Budan Ali Shah with the first and the sixth Patshahi of Sikhs as well as the devotees of all religions, cultures and faiths who visit this shrine, both are a symbol of religious pluralism. The mela held outside the shrine every Thursday adds to the glory of this place.
