Pazhathottam Viewpoint - Tourist attraction in Koviloor - Idukki, India

Pazhathottam Viewpoint is situated in Vattavada a small village in ldukki. The surrounding is full of striking beauty and a clean, green, and healthy atmosphere. This is one of the hilly areas in Vattavada. From the top, you will get a panoramic view of Vattavada village. It has become popular among enthusiastic tourists from different places.

The Best view point Vattavada in terms of accessibility. Families and individuals can easily get here by means of taxi / jeep or own vehicles. Note that the area lacks fencing so proceed with caution. Entire village of Vattavada can be observed from here. Sunsets are breathtaking and the feeling is heavenly when there is fog and mist There is a small shop that provides good food and beverages . Cell connectivity over here is only for Jio and BSNL. Please be mindful to not pollute the area and protect our forests and nature.

Elevation: 1969m / 6460feet. This Trek is truly an amazing experience for me because it's my First trekking experience. On the top of the mountain the view was really satisfied because here this point you can see karela and tamilnadu both state

Calm and serene place to get a whole wide view of Vattavada village, the terrace farming done there and the mist covering the top.

No fencing so need to be careful People littering everywhere...if you plan to visit please don't throw snacks covers and water bottles here....have seen so much waste that people have thrown out. The viewpoint has a pretty good view of the town below. Be Careful about the leeches.

Whole vattavada town can be seen from here including its farmlands Jeep ride is available from vattavada town, its a 2-3 hr ride including 2 small waterfalls,

Fantastic view. We can see whole vattavada village and their farms from here. Can feel the climate which are changing in minutes . Road to this place is very bad small cars are very difficult to go.

Great view point and spot. We can see the vattavada and koviloor towns sitting here. Evenings are astounding.a ride through vattavada rural area towards this point is nice. No other things to look out there like tickets or local peoples. You can also see the famous neelakurunji flowers in season times.
