Pawna Lake Camping @The Great Times | Best Pawna Lake Camp Lonavala - Campground in Lonavla, Thakursai - Pune, India

Excellent day trip (camping) for both friends and family and obviously for couples . Surreal place near Mumbai. Ideal camping site and it's just 2-3hrs ride from city ,for better understanding it's after Lonavala . Plan and Prebook your camp (tents right infront of heavenly pawna lake actually backwaters of pawna dam and that majestic hill in the backdrop makes it topnotch especially in monsoons ) Only problem is the Navigation to the site. it's slightly remote and directions are vague.. especially the left exit from highway(if you are travelling from mumbai).. I think there is one other way from Lonavala town too .. stay in touch with camping staff or friends who made it already. Above all Just make sure you start early i.e reach the site before sunset and don't forget to bring enough snacks or drink stuff .. there you can't expect any shops etc so it's all about proper planning and just live the moment. 1st campin experience with friends.The location is good for 1 night camping with friends .Checkin time 3 pm and checkout next day 10 AM. The camp provide gaming like volley ball, badminton, cricket, bow and arrow . They also have a big out door loudspeaker were anyone can play music with Bluetooth connectivity. The tents were small. 3 people were given tents were actually only 2 could fit in. Throughoit the day the whether was warm n bearable but It gets freezing cold at night. You should carry warm clothes for night and socks that keep ur feet warm at night. Food was not extremely good. Evening they provided tea and later in evening For veg starters they had barbequed panner and popates chips which was 80% un cooked and felt raw while eating. Non veg they had provided chicken which was 98% cooked. Dinner was good but the food veg or non veg is reallllly spicy. Checkout day morning they provided tea n poha. Good experience overall.

Great place. Fun activities to keep you engaged for the full time of your stay. The owner and staff at the place are humble, polite and friendly(overly maybe, haha). Food also is good. The night sky is great once the lights of campsites around go down, so try to choose a date without the moon in the sky if you like starry nights. Great spot too. All in all, a very good experience. Loved it! Kudos to Tushar for making such a nice place :)

Whatttt an Experience..!!!!!!! So basically it was my Husband's birthday and I wanted to surprise him but being a house wife I wanted some place in my budget itself, after a long hunt I found PAWNA lake which doesn't drag much timings are from evening 4Pm you need to check in and at 11 Am next morning you need to check out, when we reached there at 5pm we got Missal pav and Tea, after that we explored the places there's a lake there where we got to click too many pictures and even got to see sunset, at 7pm we got to eat Barbeque chicken, so basically they provide veg and non veg barbeque in which we got to choose one and it's limited only one plate we get, there's no cold drinks provided so we took it from a nearby shop, at 10 pm we had our meal which was veg and non veg both in non veg (Chicken curry, egg curry, two roti, rice), in veg (Dal, rice, paneer gravy, Nalli or finger chips, salad, 2 rotis) in desert we got JALEBI so i guess they keep on changing the desert menu. Food was literally amazing specially the masala they use in chicken barbeque it was so perfect. What we did in between all these time? We played badminton, achary, carrom, swing, music never stopped, we enjoyed the sunset in knee deep lake water by holding each others hands which really was so peaceful. You can celebrate your birthday too if you want to plan anything romantic for your partner or for any of you loved once they provide decoration as well, charges for the decoration is different. What is the charges? It's only 1200/- per person. Next morning in breakfast we had (Poha, Tea, and bread jam) which was again amazing in taste and the washrooms are fortunately so CLEAN. Everything here was well maintained.

If you want to go far from the city and relax for a complete day then this place must be in your map. There are two roads to reach this place but the road that is shortest is the worst and It will be very difficult to drive on such roads but one road goes through NH and that is a bit long but I assure you that can make your ride smooth. After reaching this place you will feel in a different world for a complete day.

A perfect getaway from the city life.. It was such a beautiful place.. The stay and the ambiance they created at The Great Times than Was really unexpected. You will get to feel the beauty of nature.. Excellent services, friendly and polite.. They always have a proper and clear communication about all the services they have, I feel they have complete transparency. Best thing is they always keep in mind the comfort of their guests. The food was very delicious with many different choice of cuisine... In short I can say I had "The Great Time"

It was last minute trip to most awaited pawana camping and it was just superb . The camping station is one of the nearest location from the lake. We had nice food ,live music ,good quality tents , good onsite games ,decent crowd and very courteous staff members who served us like family and took care of us in spine chilling cold ! I thank Mr Tushar and his colleagues Mr Sandesh and all others members for amazing experience and I highly recommend it to all.Thank you!
