Very well maintained space.
Loved this place a one day picnic spot with your family, friends or loved ones.
Many camping spots and boating activities available around
This place is truly gem for nature lovers. You'd find many tents where you can pre book and have fun with your friends and family members. Best time to visit is during monsoon and if want to go for camping then after monsoon till March. Lake is clean but avoid going deep if you don't know to swim.
Heavenly place to be. Especially in the monsoon season. The water is muddy or "dirty" to be more specific which is a downside of this place. But otherwise this place is B-E-A-UTIFUL. Whenever we go towards Pune, we make it a point to visit this place as a family.
The major attractions are
1. A peacock which looks so majestic that it is impossible to describe. If you happen to visit this place in the monsoon, you will DEFINITELY see the peacock in action, a full spread of its feathers and a dance.
2. A wonderful view of the MAJESTIC Lohagad. Crowned by the clouds, the Lohagad peak stands imposing in the entire area like a watchful guardian. We did not want to have do a trip of the peak hastily, hence we made a promise that we will definitely visit it next time. A promise that I intend to keep. In spite of having visited, a couple of times.
Beautiful place with picturesque view especially evening sun set. Good for hanging out.Roads are not so good but lust green forest is soothing to the eyes.
Beautiful place for a one day trip or if you're just on your way from pune to mumbai. The road from lonavala to the lake is a little rough as it's basically just a gravel road with rough terrain but once you reach the spot, it's all worth it. Spent an early morning here, watched the sun rise. The place is breathtaking and the spot I had gone to was quite away from the crowds, literally had no one to bother, you could just sit there for hours and soak the wellness in. 10/10 would recommend the detour from the highway.
A great place for camping and bonfire and even if u don't wanna stay it's a beauty not to miss.
Campsite to stay are very expensive. Camping other than on campsite is GENERALLY restricted . Don't have alcoholic beverages as it is restricted and police will say to u vacant the place.
Nearby place lohagad fort , visapur fort , lonavla station , Tung fort
