Pavana Lake Camping - Campground in Thakursai - Pune, India

It is good lake side camping. We came here on weekend. They provide tents with blanket and matress. This camping is exactly infront of lake. You can see spectacular view of Pavana lake and Fort Tung from anywhere in. Camp area. They have ample parking for the cars and bikes. Road is not that good till camping from main road. But it is worth little off-road to reach here. They provide evening tea and pakoda for the snacks. In BBQ, they have veg and non-veg options which are good. We can do BBQ by our own here which was nice experience. In dinner again they have unlimited veg and non veg options. Food was good. After dinner they have live music which was treat. Overall satisfying experience. Clean camping, clean common washrooms, supportive staff. Recommended for the friends and family.

Good experience with Pawna Lake Camping. Decent facilities, Good quality of tent . Plenty of space inside and the blanket and other things were cleaned. Barbecue and food was tasty. Good view of pawna lake from the camp site.

Good place for one night, just in front of Pawna lake, they have Tent Stay and 5 rooms .. Good food They give us Shegadi for barbecue

Visited this lake in monsoon on weekends (July Weekend) Less crowd. Chilling wind and scenery along the way. No camping in monsoon I guess but a great place to visit.

Camping is incredibly near to a dam with cool water where you can simply sit on rocks and dip your legs. a really serene and cool environment. If you arrive by 4 pm and camp there in tents, you will have views of day, night, and sunrise. Weekends were discovered to be packed, with approximately 100 people each campsite due to the adjacent availability of more than 100 lake campsites. Every campsite offer has around the same price and characteristics. Public restrooms are accessible. Parking is plentiful. In Evening der is fun for kids, but it's really cool because the lakeside temperature drops to 10-15 degrees very soon. Bringing a power bank and a winter coat would be a smart move.

Its a great place to spend your weekend.....This place is a developed camping Site Situation near Pawana Dam......The Camping Site consists of Different types of Tents with a great Dam View..... There are different sports and activities..... Bonfire and Barbeque at the site .......All over great picnic place... Must visit place!!!!

Best place for night camping All arrengement are superb,food quality is good and testy.

It was a wonderful experience with nature, water, with paragliding view. very nice assistance from caretaker(Nakul). All the facilities were spot on..
