Paushtik Restaurant || Pure Vegetarian Family Restaurant - Vegetarian restaurant in Vijayawada - Krishna, India

We visited this restaurant today with lot of research on having North Indian authentic food. This attracted us, we were skeptical and we still wanted to try taking a chance. Must say this is so good, everything we ordered was yummy and tasty. We ordered Chats Platter, Sweet Corn Veg Soup, Manchow Soup, Papad, Roti, Kulcha, Cashew Curry and Tawa Pulav. Just so amazing, highly recommend this place if you are visiting Vijayawada. You have to visit and they have lodging too.

It is a Veg restaurant. North Indian food also available. Food quality is above average. Some items of food is good in taste. Byke parking is available. Buffet system is available. Ambience is good. But utensils need to change. They are not suitable according to the restaurant ambience. Car parking is available but little space.

Had gone to Paushtik restaurant with family. It's a veg restaurant in the same building as Namo residency Hotel. We had gone in for Andhra meals,Thali. However it was not being served that day. So, we ordered ala-carte from Punjabi cuisine. Food was really yummy. Never expected authetic Punjabi food in Vijaywada. Most hotels end up adding lot of spices & gravy, not Paushtik, whatever we ordered was gastronomically perfect. We even ordered Chat, we were in with a surprise that it tasted like we are eating in Delhi or Mumbai. Conveniently located, it was crowded, as we went on a Sunday. However, we didn't have to wait a lot. Ambience was good. Lot of attention towards presentation of food too. I strongly recommend Paushtik restaurant.

Visited first time, overall experience is good. Service is also good. There are plenty of options, good place for pure vegetarian. Crispy spicy baby corn was so good, Chat platter was decent, quantity also good for 3-4 members as a starter option, but recommend to ask for less tamarind sauce if you don't like it more sweet. Vegetable Sizzler not so impressive, it's good only if you can eat sauted veggies. It contains pepper sauted veggies, veggies sauted in sauce, french fries and noodles/rice option. Sizzling brownie was average, served with butterscotch icecream. For all above items, one soft drink plus two water bottles it costed us around 1,200/-.

One of the best Veg restaurant in Vijaywada 2 town area near Rajagopalchari street . Ambience and food quality was really good.

Pros: Hotel ambience is good Pure vegetarian - good for vegies Lot of tandoor and starters Cons: Long waiting period No meals on Sunday Taste is not up to the mark Quantity is also less I tried biriyani, they said it will be sufficient for 2. But it was not sufficient for one. It tasted like ghee rice mixed with vegetables.

The food was tasty and the no. of vegetarian dishes are also diverse. The ambience and the staff are also positive and polite. The theme of the restaurant representing various Indian traditional dances took me to late 80's & early 90's.

Pure veg restaurant. Centrally located in besant road, opp. Ramraj cotton showroom. Best ambience Breads/ starters/ snack items/ side dishes/ thali/ Rajasthani thali/ North Indian thali. Lassi . Try this place.
