Paati Amma is a pretty famous South-Indian outlet in Coimbatore. They are open only in the evening, and they offer wide variety of Roast and sevai. Have been a customer for their shop for the past few years, and the taste has always been consistent. Highlight Dishes : Butter Egg Sevai, Mushroom Roast, Butter Appam, Tomato Sevai and Idli. With the dish, they offer you three varieties of chutney and Sambar as well. The food is good and it's price worthy. Pricing is affordable and best outlet to have a dinner with your family/friends. Overall, Good spot for dinner. Must Try!

This is a very no nonsense place with basic seating & quick service that churns out delicious food. If you are visiting Coimbatore for the first time and are new to the street food here, this is an awesome place to get an idea of the dishes in this region. I loved the butter tomato Sevai, egg butter dosa, Egg appam. When i visited, the Sambhar was not that great but the chutneys more than made up for it. It was simply outstanding with all of them packing a spice punch. There's a lot of stuff on the menu i missed out but plan to try them in my next visit and get blown away again.

This restaurant is quite famous in Coimbatore. It is not as good as it is famous for now a days. First to talk about is their service. It is really worst with wrong items in the table. Second about the quality of food, it is really worst to the core. The sambar and chutney part is not the side dish. It really was like coconut grind water and spice water to be frank. The reason they gave for poor quality is that they couldn't handle the crowd. I wish if the crowd is appearing for it famous ness then it should always be respected. But i don't seem they are responsible for the customers and the fame they have. Don't prefer this restaurant.

Have heard about this mess hence Ordered through swiggy Ordered Idli Egg sevai Garlic Sevai Idli and egg sevai were good but Garlic was horrible, Chutney was okay. 2 Idlis - 14.00Rs Egg Sevai - 40.00Rs Garlic Sevai - 50.00Rs Avoid Garlic Sevai was very bad, Rest okay.

A great experience on my first ever visit to this place, though I've been through this place hundreds of times. Had really delicious tomato butter sevai (rice noodles) & kal dosai. The varieties of chutneys were too good. The prices were nominal and the service was superfast. Love to go there again.

Budget and homely tasty food. They have only idly, sevai, appam, dosa and parrotta. But with that they make variety. Ice-cream Beeda and kalaiyan soda is also available.

I have been to patti amma shop long before. Turned back to the shop after a very long time. It's now renovated in the same place(may be renovated long back). But tastes very bad not like before. We ordered egg roast, tomato roast, sevai and kalaki. I should say sambar was not good, chutney was ok. Only coconut chutney was good. Sevai was not tasty lacking salt, spiceness everything. Overall a very disappointing experience

This used to be my favorite childhood restaurant. It was renovated a few years back and since then there is a commercial touch to the food instead of the homely touch that it used to have. The food is fine but definitely not as great as before. Tomato butter sevai with double egg and butter aappam are a must have here. The side dishes provided for takeout is not sufficient, you should ask for more (the guy at the counter won't give you but you'll be lucky if the lady is at the counter when you go. She is considerate).
