It's very beautiful and marvellous infrastructure. Must Visit Place in South Goa
Steeped in about 400 years of history and still standing proud and all. We did a walking tour of the seminary with Goan shutterbugs and everything was explained to us so thoroughly. The Church itself is so well maintained and immaculately kept. There's even a working pipe organ and century old paintings are restored to their former glory. Some earlier paintings were done directly onto the wall and not on a canvas. The Seminary's grounds are really well maintained too. If you're a butterfly lover you'll be sure to spot a lot of species in the front garden. The best time to visit Rachol is just after the monsoons. Everything is so beautifully green and the rivers and creeks are full. You can even take a 10 minute walk down to the ferry point and take a ride across the river free of charge. (Only cars are charged)
It is the ancient seminary started by the Jesuit fathers and now being run by the Goa archdiocese. It's a spectacular building with wide corridors and ancient paintings. The chapels are beautiful with fine artwork. The museum has great and ancient artifats. It's a great source of inspiration for visitors.
Great historical place for the Potuguese and Goan history. Must visit if you're in Goa.

Beautiful church located near the Rachol ferry point. Amazing serene and tranquility. Church altar is mesmerizing and ample of parking space is available. Another church by the same name is located in the neighbouring village Raia.
Scenic place with beautiful views all around. Perfect for photography. We spent 20-30min admiring the location. The bridge creates a perfect round with its reflection when clicked from side.
Not much is left of the Rachol Fort except this gate. Well, it isn't really the structure but the stories this gate hold, leading into historic village of Rachol! A very scenic walk and village passing through this gate.
