Nice place to spend some time with friends and family. Good place to enjoy the serene beauty of water. See the seagulls flying and diving in water. See the boats floating in water and the speedboats gushing away. You can buy some chips and sit and enjoy some photography.
This place will fall between patratu Valley roads and Patratu lake resort. You need to leave the main roads and go on over a temporary muddy road for around 100 meters. But no need to worry about the muddy road, its good and lot of vehicles, cars are coming down on that road. They have boating facility here. So, you can also enjoy boating while seeing the beautiful sunset.
Awesome place, do try when in here.. It's not so pocket pintchy but the experience you'd get is real good. Also, by doing that, you'd be helping the Boatmen as it's their household runs from what they earn from this!!
The view of the lake ( from Nov to mid Feb-- during this period migratory birds visit) is wonderful.Here you can spend almost half a day by watching the beauty of the lake andthe migratory birds.The setting sun n flying guls adds to the beauty of the lake.Boating during the sunset is a wonderful experience.

Awesome place to visit same location patratu dam and lakes resorts are on same place 30 km to the west of Ramgarh this dam was constructed with the purpose of supplying water to Patratu Thermal Power Station. Water from the river Nalkarni and from the waterfalls of the hills surrounding this dam is stored in this dam. The total storage capacity of this dam is 81 square miles. It is a beautiful tourist spot and throughout the year particularly during the winter season a large member of people visit here for picnic. There is a circuit house beside the dam. The Panchawahini temple adjacent tc the dam is an ancient temple and significant for its religious value.
