PMCH the biggest government hospital in bihar. Peoples all over bihar come here with a hope that they can be cured they can live again a peaceful life but the most important is the poor system here less beds on an average of 14 over 1000 peoples and doctors here are not available all the time. If you could admit a patient you may have to sleep at ground and sometimes the patient has to be at ground you know what I'm saying despite this government has taken steps to improve this hospital may with the help of god this can be possible so that a normal man could also be cured easily. OVERALL DOCTORS ARE VERY GOOD WELL EDUCATATED.if you have any direct contact to any PMCH'S doctor than you will get good service. #PMCH NEEDS TO GROW HIS FACILITY!!
this is one of the best govt. hospital in whole bihar, best faculty in this hospital. all Doctor are very good, best experience, well educated doctor. Patna Medical College and Hospital (abbreviated as PMCH) is located on the southern bank of the river Ganga, Patna, Bihar. It was established in 1925. It was named as Prince of Wales Medical College, but a few decades after the Independence, it was renamed to Patna Medical College and Hospital or PMCH, as it is popularly known today. This historic medical college is one of the oldest colleges in India and traces its origin to a school called Temple Medical School during the 1870s in Patna. The new institution was officially inaugurated two years later. On May 15, 1947, three months before India's independence, Mahatma Gandhi visited this place for the surgery of his grand-niece (Manu). Sadly, after a few years, it is being demolished for the redevelopment plan.
