A very beautiful and clean place. Not very far from Purulia. The best time to visit the reservoir is in the rainy season as the dam is almost full. Other times of the year the reservoir is partially empty. An intake made by the department of Public health engineering, govt of West Bengal is must explore. One can enjoy the delicious fish there.
Few people would venture out to this little known place not far from Puruliya town except in the picnic season in the winter. Has a smal dam meant mainly for irrigation work. Old trees on its one side and verdant fields on the other provide perfect picturesque location.
Crude touch of old system of barrage making. There is a clear view of the dam and a dusty road alongside. Some old building and deul are nearby. To reach the place take road beside the sub post office and opposite to hutmura panchayat. Road is not good. Do not take road behind Hutmura High school.
I live near of patloi damp. And this is the most beautiful place I have ever seen.
Very nice place for picnic
Wonderful place. U can click superb photos with awesome background. The hanging bridge is the most attractive thing of this lake.. The road is full of ups and downs but when you reach there you will be pleased with the amazing beauty of this lake and also the total view. I love this place. Ignore the rainy season because at that time the roads a full of mud
Fabulous place for enjoyment with friends.
It's a sweet water dam of this locality. Water table of nearby village, Huttmura has raised due to this dam. It is not an irrigation dam. This dam meant for water supply and rising water table. Scenic beauty is there. A beautiful picnic spot. Tourists are requested not to through garbage in and around the dam. Maintain waste, you will be a good citizen. If are in a Group Clean the Majhi Bagan area. Take pictures before and after cleaning. This will add in your pleasurable memories. #SaveSoil
