Pashchim Darwaza - Historical landmark in Patna - Patna, India

This is just a pillar left, there's no palace, monument, or tourist place here this is basically a bussy road and this emblem is situated at side because this is a left over part of a big door called west door and in hindi Or we can say the real name is paschim darwaza. So basically we all visit market very often and come across this emblem evrytime because this is the nearest local market of our place so these questions here are ridiculous like when you visit there and so and so. And let me tell you there were total of 4 doors on every direction so you'll also gonna see purav darwaza and so.

One of the oldest market place in existence within Patna City/Gulzarbagh area. Roads are still narrow to cross 2 cars side by side but some of the very old and wholesale traders of different commodity runs their establishment in this market so rush can be felt around the clock. Cost wise this market is not too expensive but garbage dumps are found here and there in the market so need to maintain the cleanliness.

There is no need to pay bcoz this is Local market so heavy traffic that's why waiting time was so longer but this is historical place and it has some historical story for this PACHHIM DARWAZA..... if some people will ask them I will say that history.....

Market of all need. You can buy all essentials items from that place. But parking of four wheeler is very difficult so better to go by auto or by you own bike.

This is a very popular gate located in the middle of Patna City and Gayghat. This door falls on the way to Badi Patan Devi Temple via Gaighat. Now, it's just a door nothing more. It falls on the way of Ashok Rajpath, so now it is in the possession of encroachers.
