A sharp step climb to this Peshwa era temple complex is a must do in Pune. Parking (even early mornings) can be a challenge on foot hill for both two and four wheeled vehicles. 4-5 temples and a mini museum can be found at the top along with the primary Blackstone Shiva-Parvati temple. The premises are maintained well and kept clean. A slum is slowly inching its way up on the slopes from two sides and will invariably become an administrative burden to control. That is probably the only eyesore on this landmark. There are no ticketing outposts here and tourists can climb anytime during the operational hours.
Ultimate temple with pure magic of blessings. Been my favourite since 14 years. The stairs, Vitthal Rakhumai mandir, Shiv mandir and museum all are aesthetic.
. A must visit in Pune. The climb to the hill is enjoyable, difficulty level for young one and children is not much but not advisable for old ones who have problem related to breathing or knees. The temples on the top are nearly 350 years old. There's one small museum also. The museum remains closed from 12 noon to 4 Pm. There's no designated parking place but I didn't find any difficulty in finding a parking near the entry on Saturday at 1 Pm. The view from the top is breathtaking. A spectacular view of the whole Pune city awaits you there. I visited there during Monsoon. The greenery of the Pune city will certainly a great pleasure for your eyes. The place is neat and clean. You will not find any Washroom on the top, but Drinking water and snacks are available on the top. Price of the snacks is also reasonable. The stairs are not flat but some what inclined. This makes the climb little bit more difficult. While descending you have to remain careful to avoid skidding. If kids are with you please remain extra vigilant. You can spend some time at the top viewing the city. A total of one hour and half will be sufficient to explore this place.
An early morning walk to this place is something I would like to do everyday if I live in Pune.. good physical exercise to the beautiful view of the city and peaceful temple premises.

I have been to Parvati several times earlier, but never during rainy morning. it was ok while going up, but while coming down I was scared to fall down or slipping. hence I removed the sandals and was holding the bar all the way down. it was ok and superfluous. The floor tiles have.serrstions to prevent slips.
Good place to visit and for some exercise Steep Steps to reach at top Nice museum of peshwa at top fees 20 rupees Great mandir of Vishnu and kartik swami at top Carry water bottles always in summer season like May Elderly take precautions as it's hard work to climb around 200 to 300 steps
