Once it was called SGV Sastry park. It's an average big park with good greenery around in Satyanarayanapuram. The main attraction of the park is the Skateing rink with the children practicing skateing. The place is also called a skateing park. It has a jogging track and other body shaping gadgets as can be seen in photos. The park is looking over by the Vijayawada Municipal Corporation (VMC) The park needs more lighting at night and a nice green setup can be added for the attraction and for the good oxygen.
This park is called as G.V.S.Sastry Municipal Corporation Park located in the entrance of satyanarayanapuram railway quarters near BRTS Road food junction center. Even though it is a small park it is being utilized as recreational in the evenings by so many people residing nearby. Cement benches kept here are useful to elderly to sit comfortably in the park. Children are very much interested to come to this park because of play items like see-saw, swing, ladder and slide, aeroplane model with ladder and slide available here. Very good instruments to do zym are also available for youngsters and adults. Several new instruments were kept aside without installation. Skating rink available here is providing training to enthusiastic children.
The park needs some more facilities to attract more people... And the park is not safe for children below the age of 6... The parking facilities are not good.. the cycles are being stolen by strangers.. overall the interior of the park is okay... It has a skating ring inside the park..
Park is best for walking, skating and exercising. Anyone can do exercise. But skating is only for age 17 below person only.

This park dont have rides... All the old rides got damaged. So they were removed. It got a open gym. Good for adults and kids like to play there. It also got sand play ground. Kids play kabaddi and all sort of games there
