Every year 14 january a big fair organised by Jainism. Best time for travel in October to February... Adventures people must visit in rainy season but own risk....
Small but beautiful station the maintenance of this station is also good.. Total 5 platform is here and almost all train stops here atleast 2 min because it's another good station after Gomoh and it's also famous for shri sammed shikharji... People visit here for the shikharji Darshan on the peak of mountain...The mountain is highest elevation overall in jharkhand and Bihar.. Must visit if you are in parasnath and try the jain food it's also good... The Distance of starting point of trekking from station is 22-23km you can hire vehicle it will cost 50rs from station... Parashnath railway station is average in cleanness and facilities. Wifi working but speed is below average. You can't see YouTube without buffering. its good for tourists who is going to Madhuban, parshvanath temple and Giridih. Number of trains stopped is below average. Only few trains are stopped there.
Of you are here... Please don't forget to visit Temple... Beutiful please....
Although station is clean....but it can be credited more to lesser crowd than actual maintenance.being a holy place a lot can be done.no display boards,no food stalls,no proper water facilities and restroom...merely 30% of the station is covered for bad weather... All in all a small station which lacs all basic facilities.however the view is breathtaking though.
