Parampara Cottages Resort In Dandeli - Resort hotel in Dandeli - Uttara Kannada, India

We went in with moderate expectations to this resort based on my cousin's previous stay here. And unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. First, let me highlight the positives: 1. The resort is located in a beautiful location amidst a small forest. It's serene and has very clean air. 2. The breakfast quality is very good. Decent spread too. So were the desserts with lunch and dinner. I wish there were more positives that I could highlight. But, unfortunately not. Now, about the pain points and sheer annoyances: 1. The rooms weren't clean. Although the rooms were spacious and decently well equipped, it was not clean. There was visible dust everywhere, including on the bed which is simply unacceptable! 2. The service quality was below average. We had asked for an additional couple of Table Tennis bats and they never came. This might seem like nitpicking, but there were several other instances like this - charging additional for water bottles that are supposed to be part of the room tariff, no housekeeping done for a 3-night stay, etc. Can't really list all of the other service annoyances really. Maybe the staff is overworked and are too tired to cater to even the basic requests, or maybe something else. Either way, the resort fails big time with this. 3. The quality and variety of lunch and dinner was terrible. Every day it was the same set of items or minor variations of them. Completely unacceptable! The quality wasn't great either - either it was spicy or mild but not balanced. 4. Even though one of us couldn't make it to the rafting, they failed to refund the amount that we had paid. On top of that they lied saying they had already informed my cousin that there wouldn't be refunds, which he denied. Very disappointing experience and I strongly recommend you avoid this. There are far better resorts in Dandeli.

I had an amazing experience at the forest resort! The natural beauty that surrounds the property is breathtaking. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel right at home. The cozy cabins were well-maintained and offered a perfect blend of comfort and immersion in the wilderness. The hiking trails were fantastic, and I loved exploring the lush, serene forest. The food at the resort's restaurant was delicious, and I appreciated the farm-to-table concept. Overall, it was a rejuvenating and memorable stay that I would highly recommend to nature lovers and anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

I alongwith my family visited to the Parampara Cottages Resort and it was really a very memorable vacation of the year. The Staff was friendly, Rooms were neat and clean, the environment surrounding the cottage was actually Nature away from the concrete jungle life and especially Veg food which is vocal for local dishes was very very delicious. Lastly affordable budget for middle class.

Visited here for a 2 day trip with a group of friends. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious. The food served had great variety. The pool is very beautiful and its a great stay for friends. Very polite staff and we enjoyed a lot.

Had a very nice experience in Parampara Cottage, Dandeli, especially when it comes to the room, activities and staff services. Friendly staffs. Only thing which bothered was the location. As its located inside, there was no transportation arranged, and we had to switch multiple vehicles to reach the place. Likewise, it wasnt made clear in the package that we had to go to the water activities area in our own vehicle. However after talking to the management, they arranged a vehicle for the 3 of us to go to that spot and back. That was the only thing bothered us, apart from which everything was taken care well!

The room was clean and good. Staff were courteous. Items were limited in buffet but good. If the non-veg items and desert items are increased in the buffet it would be great. One of the good options to consider in Dandeli for stay.

Property Manager Manoj did an excellent job in taking care of my group of 30+ people.He was very attentive to our need and made sure everything went well. He made our stay very comfortable. Property as such have got scope for some improvement in terms of cleanliness, food menu and better operational standards.

Location is superb! Rooms are very good. Service is as required. Food is exemplary! You will enjoy your stay and also enjoy the food provided. It's definitely worth the money you pay.
