Parag Park Sector D Aliganj - Park in Lucknow - Lucknow, India

Situated in Sector D of Aliganj, the place is not a park as the name sounds. It is rather an open green space amidst a densely inhabited pocket. The place is used for the annual Durga Pooja celebration. The nice idol of Goddess Durga along with Goddesses Saraswati and Laxmi and Lord Ganesh and Kartikeya are placed, consecrated and worshipped for three days during the period of Shardiya Navratri which culminates in Dussehra festival. The area is densely populated and the roads are narrow like allies. Top of it, the parked cars hardly leave a space for smooth movement. It becomes tricky especially when a car is coming from the opposite direction. The park, however, is a good place for the residents of the locality.

Parag Park is yet another beautiful park which provides great comfort and view for the people staying in and around sector D Aliganj It's a good place where you can spend your time with kids or for morning evening walk. Most of the Park in Lucknow which are constructed by the Government Schemes are having nearly the same experience and are a real gift to the people living there.

This park is similar to other locality park. It is good for walking and kids for playing. Environment is very natural, clean and pollution free. You may get fresh air over here. This park is famous for Puja celebration during Navratri. Puja festival is organized in Bengali style. Every year, during Navratri, pratima of Maa Durga is established here in traditional way. Cultural programs are also organized here during Navratri. Most famous is musical night. One can come here and celebrate Puja festival. Local installs of traditional dresses and decorative items are also available here. Several food installs are also available for foodies. Thanks to organisers for celebrating Puja here because it adds more happiness during navratri.

Just in front of my home in lucknow. Panditji and staff here keeps the temple and premises very clean.
