Big grounds in natural setting...Old Indian Culture Building Amazing...Rooms are Old Version Amazing and very comfortable. Staff is very attentive, Beautiful lush gardens The overall stay was good Love this place for it's uniqueness. Ambiance is something special. The food was little bit average. But biryani tends to be a bit too spicy but overall food is overpriced...Very good calm place in Kumbakonam Thanjavur high way cottages all among the coconut trees.. very good facilities Full greenary karaikudi style housing very affordable Nice place with wide area for strolling.Neat rooms with trendy foods and drinks

We just returned from a four say stay at the resort . The experience was amazing. The river view cottage was spacious surrounded with lush green garden and to make it more beautiful we could see birds and animals all over the resort. Silent and scenic. The food was delicious and customised. The chef took extra care in preparing food for my toddler. The staffs were very helpful and friendly. Lot of open space free from insects and mosquito. We also went on a Bullock cart ride around d village which was arranged by the resort.

Very beautiful resort. Worth staying. Good food. Would love to give 5 star buy gave only 4 star due to slow service in restaurant (they take more time since they may start cooking after getting the order, but with baby in hand i felt they would have given the food little quick. Atleast the basic items like pulka) and moreover they treat indians less than foreigners (server in the restaurant even said that we give first preference to foreigner when talking about the morning buffet closed soon), felt little heart broken.

The place was great. The service was good. The food was average. The biryani tends to be a bit too spicy. A bit overpriced. But should be ok for the western tourists. A lot can be improved. It has decent toilets.

The food was amazing and the attention incredible. They offer south Indian cuisine but they also have northern food as well. Butter naan was great, as lassi. We really enjoyed the fresh vegetables and the sprout salad. Tandoor chicken was good but not spectacular.

Came for lunch on the way through to Thanjavour. The buffet looked very appetising but I plumped for the prawn Biriani which was excellent. I can't speak for the accomodation. I would class the restaurant up market but you can also eat cheaply. Worth the stop if you are looking for something better than a roadside stall.

A silent resort in typical chettinadu type architecture. Nicely maintained, with blocks over looking the pool and also a river!! Can have an experience of a typical village - saw them creating the ambience for lot of foreigners who were guests at the resort. Huge , spacious rooms and furnitures with an old age charm. Very good calm place in Kumbakonam Thanjavur high way... Just in the outskirts of kumbakonam. They tried very much to bring the antique look...country tile laden house type cottages all among the coconut trees.. very good facilities. Very nice room service... Tasty food...
