Good place to roam with family. Close to nature. Try to keep place clean. Take your garbage along with you back.
Dam is beautiful.
But this place is very crowded and full of rowdy people.

This place is perfect for silent nature lover/introverts who doesn't love crowded area. Lake is so calm. One thing for which i didn't give 5 star is the entrance road. Kinda zigzag.
Good place to visit. There are many temples to visit and full of beauty and Nature. One thing is bad people has mess with this nature by throwing garbages. Please you don't the same thing. Other than relaxing place for your soul and mind.
Best place to chill out, amazing view, good place for exercising and yoga..You can do Off-roading (cycling). I hope you will love it, Go with family and friends over there a small picnic spot

This dam is situated at Phoolpada, Virar East. Dam supplies water to Phoolpada area. This Dam is surrounded by jungle. It is beautiful in Monsoon. Best for one day picnic or short trail. People come here for walk and exercise at morning and evening.
Municipal corporation swimming pool is just near this dam. You can visit Baronda Devi Temple after short walk, it is located other side of dam. Walk from dam to temple will give you the experience of traditional village life. You can also drive towards the temple if dam is not overflows. You can also see the famous Jivdani Temple of Virar.
If you are interested in Bio diversity or plantation or in Photography then "Late Uttamrao Patil Bio Diversity Park" is for you. it is also located other side of dam. There is also one old Mahadeva Temple. The temple and Bio Diversity Park is surrounded by dark forest and small waterfall. All this places are hidden gem of Virar.
This place is amazing if you minus the trash people have been throwing into the water (90% of which includes old decaying flowers ..... Turns out... Holy Garbage) and the reason behind it being that this place is actually a lot holy because surrounded by a lot of temples.
Now I know why vasai never got so famous. It's right next to the Jivdani Mnt.
