The airport is the smallest airport i have ever seen. Only small plane lands and you can walk to the airport , as it is very small distance. The luggage comes to the the small room at the exit and you can collect it one by one , there is no rotating belt system. Just a small room.
Washrooms at the exit is only one so it might take time for your turn.
Arrival lounge is all of a 30 feet by 40 feet space where passengers are told to wait for their checked in luggage. The luggage arrives in hand cart and is hand delivered...
This is a pathetic excuse for an airport. It's ridiculously small, badly maintained, airconditioning or fans weren't functional. Indigo airways staff were non reciprocative as always. Requests to turn on the AC on a hot day was ignored. Railway stations in tier 2 or 3 cities are better than this.
Relatively small airport. Sufficient for nearby areas. Three flights operate from here. Planes are 2x2. Bags delivered by hand belt facility not yet available. Sufficiently Big parking available to welcome guests.
Very small and conjusted airport. No cleaned washrooms. No vendors nearby or in airport to purchase water bottles or refreshments.

But good part is it gives you feel of old times when airports used to be like this.
A lot to be done here infrastructure wise. Airport is too small plus flights here generally gets delayed. Arrival station is too small & when you enters there it feels like you entered some hospital room. Not even belt system is there from where you can pick up your luggage; You will have to pick up your luggage on your own from outside arrival station where they will drop your luggage in open very carelessly. Departure station was also quite messy & ceiling was also dripping. They don't even have Basic infrastructure required for an airport!
A very small and congested airport.. didn't have enough waiting seats for ATR passengers...As the crowd is limited, the security is very sluggish and detailed as if they are getting a chance to spend more time with passengers as the flights are limited. Toilets too are smelly and need cleaning..Seating arrangements after security is same as in waiting area at arrival.....
Pant Nagar Airport is situated next to Pant Nagar University. Nainital is just 60kms away from the Airport. It takes only 2 hours to reach Nainital. The distance of Haldwani is 27 kms from the Airport. Small Airport with Good Parking facility. Washrooms near the Parking area can be more clean and tidy.
Now SpiceJet and IndiGo are also operating from this airport. Earlier only Air India was providing its services. Flights for Delhi, Dehradun, Lucknow, Varanasi, Khajuraho and Srinagar can be boarded from here.

An ideal hostel for girls. It's very big and squeaky clean and just beautiful.
