If there was an option, I would give it 0 stars as it is undeserving of even 1 star. It is the worst government hotel that I have been in. The location was decent but the rooms were all broken, there was a switch for geyser but it did not work(no hot water available). I think they gave us the worst maintained room in the hotel(room 208) and there were insects crawling all over the place. There was no lock on the windows and the entire hotel was reeking of rotten fish. Overall experience is terrible. Would not recommend anyone to come to this hotel.
Placed almost adjacent to the beach, u can park ur vehicle without tension, the rooms r old but clean, the staff r polite and helpful, if u want local food they can give u proper suggestions. The lights at beach are on till 9 pm, the beach may feel crowdy in afternoon but the crowd dissipates in evening, so u can njoy till late. If u want to avail a vehicle, the staff can arrange a vehicle...... A nice place to spend a weekend
This property used to be very good a few years back but now this has become a nightmare without proper maintenance. Very depressing condition. Totally no no unless you have no other options. But the staff behaviour is good and the food quality is ok.
It's a huge property with specious rooms surrounded by a well maintained garden. Rooms are not very well maintained though. Service is a bit down side. Kitchen offers delicious food, mostly local cuisine. Location of the property is great. They almost have a private beach. Overall great place to hangout with family and friends.
A government hotel, not very well maintained, but location is good, rooms are big, but you can only get the view of the sea from a balcony that is attached to the room, so you cannot sit inside your room in AC and enjoy the sea view Also the sea here is really calm, hardly any wave.
Had dinner here twice, the service here is very late. Even if you order ahead, these people won't give your food on time. The rates are cheap to reasonable, but the food quality isn't really up to the mark. The chicken pieces in the chicken curry weren't fresh. Overall experience wasn't that great.
One of the hotel/resort of Odisha Tourism and Development Corporation located right on the Chandipur beach. It has chandipur beach in front of it. Lot of people visit the beach in morning and afternoon. Evening it has the lightings and shops of various local food items.
Rooms are is ok but non ac room is not clean. Ac rooms are clean. Breakfast and lunch dishes are good.

Really amazed seeing such a good resort in Chandipur. Best for family Birds, playing area , swiming pool , boating all facilities are marvelous. Food is mouthwatering. Rooms are very big and spacious. Staff behaviour is very good. I highly recommend
Went with a big family group of 12, had a lovely time. Clean nice rooms, wonderful food, warm service, small but lovely swimming pool... nice all the way. But I should mention that the sea is not visible from here.
The rooms and the surroundings are very clean. Staff are good. The lake and gardens add to the beauty of the ambience. Perfect for family stay at very reasonable rate if commuting is not an issue.
Very good staff, warm behaviour. Food is better than average. We got a properly clean room and bathroom. Location is not that bad, but the beach is 5 to 7 mins of walk away. There is a nice scenic place near the hotel, a glimpse of rural Odisha.
