One of the few varaha temples managed by the royal family zamorins of calicut

A well maintained and religious temple of Sree Varaha moorthy and Bhoomi devi deities situated kumbidi the border of Palakkad and Malappuram. This temple was built by Lord Parasurama which was 4000 years ago. The temple performs a special Pooja called as Bhoomi Pooja in order to receive all difficulties related to our land.This is the first temple in Kerala made by great Perunthachan . Stories tell that he couldn't finish the job and he preserved his "Uli " ( chisel) and "muzhakol" ( measuring scale) in front of the Sreekovil .
