A must visit place in Dima Hasao. Actually it's not a waterfall, but a rapid. The colour of the water is blue. Boating facility available. Not properly maintained. Basic amenities for tourists are not available.

Beautiful place, no doubt about it. The reason why I gave 4 stars is because I found no place set up where I could take bath and I had to go look for the spot all by myself.
Situated on the border of West Karbi Anglong & NC Hills, hilly districts of Assam, this place offers a perfect spot for all sorts of camping, picnic, excursions, kayaking, river boating, swimming, and all other fun. The water is crystal clear and serene, I loved this place.
Best time to go : Anyday except its too rainy (roads are not good)

Although a very attractive place for tourists. A good place where you can spend your entire day with your family or friends. Nice natural view. The waterfall is very beautiful. Overall, nice Place to visit but Road to reach here in extremely bad condition. Maintenance is not proper . The road is not good. Basic amenities not sufficient.

It was a lovely visit to this amazing not so crowded place. The location was in the midst of forest area on the Umrangso - Lanka road. London wise it was really beautiful and what caught my attention was the color of the water which was torques blue. They're are a number of water sports available as well such as river rafting and boating. An excellent offbeat place to visit.
One of the most beautiful waterfall in Assam. The place is very peaceful and quiet. The water is crystal clear and clean. Road to water fall is in under construction so it takes time to reach the location. The boat ride is amazing and it gives the full view of the waterfall. The people are very welcoming and helps to get the directions.
PS: Start early if travelling from Ghy or nearby areas coz the road from Dima Hasao is under construction and it takes much time to reach the waterfall.
2. If possible take some snacks along as there is no hotels nearby to the waterfall.
Panimur Falls is located in the Dima Hasao district.
Obstructed by huge stones, the water of the Kopili River gushes out with great force forming the ethereal beauty of the Panimur Falls. The panoramic view of the surroundings has made it a popular picnic spot. A Forest Inspection Bungalow has been built there to accommodate few tourists. The best to time to visit in Panimur waterfall is during the autumn or in the winter and spring. As in the summer the place becomes quite hot and the water dries down to an extent. The river can be devastating during the monsoon. So it is best to visit the place during autumn and winter or spring as the weather is also soothing and comfortable.
Road connect needs improvement but water fall is just heaven
