Good clean place to perform ghat kaaj (last rite rituals) by the bereaved family members for the departed soul. Support staff will arrange ganga mati for you and local barbers are also roaming nearby. Clean Change room for ladies and toilet available with paid service. People also visit here to enjoy the serenity of the riverside. Also used for idol immersion. Has adjacent launch jetty for movement to other side of the river bank. Big ground for paid car parking is available just outside the ghat. Approach from main road is not much wide and ofter one need to stop to give way to upcoming vehicles.

Clean and Best place to relax but not on weekends, it gets really Crowded.

The overall experience was good, it was clean and people around were decent. The street food vendors offered cheap prices but all of them limited the acceptance of payment mode to cash only. It's hard to carry cash all the time. We are so used to Online Payment Modes.
