The ferry service is just beside the iskon temple. Only big boat/steamers run now. They have upgraded this about a year ago. As of 2021 ticket price is 8 per person. And if you have bike; the ticket is 12 rs. and the boatman will also demand 8 rupees to help you board the ferry with your vehicle. From 5.30 am am to 10.30 pm with a gap 15 minutes they provide service. Adequate safety measures taken with additional bonus of beautiful flowing river, ghats and mandirs, street foods, peoples, sunset. The maintenance of the area is poor though as you can expect from the govt run service.
