Beautiful place, children be careful when climbing the hills, otherwise most areas have footpaths, even elderly people can visit. When you visit please do not throw rubbish and don't touch the paintings or write your name on it.

Great historical place needs recognition as world heritage site. Protection for cave paintings needed urgently. Needs local guides to help navigate. A great day trip immersed in nature and history of early humans. Trek and lose loads of calories as a bonus.
Mesmerising place. I have visited as Solo traveler and spent more than 4 hours with nature. Monkeys, mongoose, squirrels and lots of birds are there to give you a company!! When I was here, in entire area not even a single person were there, but I've enjoyed a lot. Two points I would like to add as a feedback. 1. There should be a roadmap of main spots because this is such a huge place and there are six diversions to visit different spots in completely extreme directions. So if one misses then its little hard to find the way back. 2. Direction boards with arrows are written in Telugu only, however it's not everywhere but if one can not read (like me) then we surely miss it. * Giving a roadmap at the ticket counter will be a best idea to promote this wonderful place.
There is nothing except a ticket vendor, all you have to reach all spots on your own. Carry good amount of water. Good trecking and a different type of rock to capture pics with. Reach the place with your own vehicle. Absolutely no transport. Not a convenient distance from highway to walk.
Geological wonder. You get to see interesting rock formations with visible geological features. Spread over a large area, it may take around 5-6 hours to explore the entire place. Don't forget to carry enough water and snacks as you won't be able to find anything over there.
Although last km was a pain for the drive, absolute gem of a place for trekking. The only down side was they are charging Rs 500 for taking a traditional camera when phones can out snap them. Must visit. Is difficult for elders and small kids.
Lovely place for a day outing, roads are good, just see if you can avoid peak summer and the rainy season. They have rappelling here with trainers, you need to book ahead. Limited options for food and accommodation. Plan ahead, but carry your stuff. There is another cave complex nearby, Mylaram caves, near Mylaram village. Check with locals and see if you can get a guide. Could not visit due to heavy rain.
