Beautiful place within 30 kms from Patia. Go in the early morning to see peacocks. Local guides available around. You can take their help for better trekking. They are good at photography too.There are 2 ways to climb up the hill. One through the cashew trees orchards and other one some 100 m before the parking. A must visit place for trekkers. Take water with you. Water bottles also available with the local guides.

Place is good for hiking and trekking. But since it is new there is no proper managemet to take care of the place which is leading to littering of the place by few idiots who visit there. You should be prepared for some serious vertical hikes.

Best place for a Trek within 50km radius of Bhubaneswar. The place is not overcrowded. There are 2 caves , a small and a large one which are followed by the hilltop. The smaller cave comes 1st while climbing up and doesn't really have any obstacles but requires good cardio strength for sure... The 2nd cave is way more up. Obstacles start right after the small cave. With the major one just before reaching the top Anyone with normal fitness can easily overcome these...fat people might have some issues The hilltop has scenic views and one should definitely sit there and enjoy the calmness it has Always choose 2 wheelers to reach the destination since the route goes through the 'patli galis' of a village. Locals have set up bike stands over there as well and charge 200-300 INR to help u tour the place. It's be wise to take a local.
