Panchobon Art Resort - Resort hotel in Santiniketan, Bolpur - Birbhum, India

Despite booking rooms 2 months in advance, we did not the get the right category of room committed to us during booking. (We were charged for higher category but was physically given the lowest category room).Too pathetic ... bathroom shower area hand shower was broken and health faucet was badly leaking. AC remote was missing and room electrical socket hanging. With all the above mentioned issues we were given the room for check-in. When required for a room change, we were told that they are sold out and were forced to take this room. In the evening, we had to follow up several times to get all the defective items rectified. Staff got the items rectified in the evening. Food was comparatively better but rates were quite high. The hotel is in remote area where you donot have any other option to dine outside. Will not recommend to anyone after this experience.

Except for the location there is nothing good about this resort. Very very ill maintained and service is pathetic. Yes the resort area is very well made of trees and natural beauty but the rooms are not at all worthy of it. We stayed for 3 days during the Independence Day holidays and the room service was not done even for a single day. The food was very very ordinary and bland. The rooms need good maintenance to make it fit for staying. Overall the main concept of the resort is good and hope they carry out the maintenance soon.

Foods are good but all foods are not available every time. Water supply is poor evertime we have to call to start the pump. Their should be a intercom facility in every room. But staffs are very helpful.

It's a awesome place for short trip. You can feel the nature very close. Food quality is top the level. But price is lil too high. Trees are there for welcoming you. Staffs are too friendly in nature. Best place for celebrating birthday or anniversary. I went there for anniversary celebration.

Very beautiful , tree house ta nice, service good, room very sundoor and art related 100% nature base, selfi zone ache , natural pond and duck ache, night view ta excellent, if you will not visit you were something miss, every Saturday natak hoi... Some review was written some body ,so that is his/her own view. It is my personal opinion over all very good , I remain this is the best resort at santiniketan, I personally recombine this resort for staying. Manager Samiran Pal is very helpful Come and have a look. But Food quality is best and rate high.

Concept of the resort is applealing but low quality maintenance, untrained service staffs, very average food quality with respect to tariffs. Some cottages need serious renovation. They allow pets so if you have one, you can try it

It was a nice feeling to stay at panchobon resort, its like in the lap of nature. Only the main thing is food in the menu is little less, should be included more items in menu card and cost of tea comparing with its quantity is too much costly......

Truly a relaxing and blissful experience.The place is artistically designed .The staff is friendly and promptly caters to your culinary demands.The food was just lip smacking delicious.Try out chicken pakora and fish jhol.Even the posto bora was an authentic preparation.If you want a stress-free vacation amidst greenery this is ideal.The rooms are smaller than regular hotel rooms.If you are foodie you would love this place
