One of the famous park in Chennai, it was so big one in past now due to Metro work half of the park only in functional. Quite peaceful place, swings, seesaw, shuttlecock play area are inside the park, walking area around the corner of the park also maintained very well..
We (friends) went to this park before 10 days. Half of the park is closed due to metro construction. Now the park space is very class and it is okay for walking and Relaxing. Kids have their play area to work. Here we can the couples enjoyment.
It's a very good garden and a place to walk at morning. And it's also a place where everyone can take a rest after shopping in t nagar. Restrooms are not available here. To through the trash dustbins are available here. Many rats are there in the grass area. So when you have something to eat keep a eye on it
Good place for morning and evening walk. There are slides and swing sets for kids. Lots of greenery. Also has benches to sit incase you require.

Went there today.Nothing short of Hell.Go there only if You MUST. Nothing works there.No Traffic Syatem.Utter Chaos.So many Detours & Onwe Wsy. This tempts 2 Wheelers & even one or Two Autos to go against the Traffic.the carriagewayresembles a lane & can allow just aone Vehicle Better Avoid
It's a beautiful park were you can sit without sweating even at the noon time. Now Metro Station work is going on and some places are taken by Metro work

Kendriya Vihar has 3 blocks A, B & C. Each block has three separate parks. A block park just surrounded by all A block houses and it's always lively. You can see kids playing in front of our houses safely. I love this park most.
This place is very calm and beautiful. Full of trees and there is lot of space of walking. Many chairs are there for sitting. This was a dump yard converted to tree park with many native trees(600) varieties. Elderly, kids enjoy this place very much.
