Goddess Saraswathi and Maha Vishnu showering their kind blessings here. Calm and peaceful place. There was no upi/card facility for vazhipadu payments. This make inconvenience for devotees and authority should implement upi facility for payments. I visited there on the Navarathri time of 2023. Even the distace from the nearest bus stop to the temple is 2km may be, the auto will charge Rs60 which is very high. No frequent buses the passes the road passing close to the temple. As per the auto driver there is only 1 bus that in the morning passing through there. You can do vazhipadu for Saraswatham ghee, which is very special for the blessings of education and intelligence. Except Maha Navami, very day you can perform Vidyarambham here like that in Sri Kollur Mookaambika temple.

The original idol of Saraswati Devi is not visible and it is hidden inside the sacred forest . Navaratri is the special festival there. Vidyarambam for anyone can be done at anytime. It's a must visit place for temple lovers.

This temple is quite famous and during the days of vidyarambham, kids write here for the first time is a famous ritual. During these day it starts early like 4 am. You can book your slots online so that you get less crowded queue to take. I would suggest to reach there as early as possible so that you can finish the process quickly. As it goes the place gets heavy crowded and you will have to wait with the baby for a lot of time. We started from home around 3 and reached there around 3:45 and by that time the parking was pretty occupied. We were able to finish the process and darshan in an hour. Overall and very nice experience. They will take pictures of the event and you can pay them 250 to get 2 copies and even get soft copies if needed.

Had difficulty in getting a parking space,but managed. If you do not have any Pooja or archana, you need not wait in queue,can get quick Darshan and return

Temple closes at 10.30 so be there before 10 as nivedyam Or ucha - noon pooja sreekovil will be closed. Buy the trimadhuram from the Vishnu temple and payasam also. Rs30 and Rs40. The Vishnu temple first towards right and then to left down you descent to Saraswati temple. You can get all poojas for children and a sand filled long table like utensil where you can write vidyarambha mantram. Climb up and complete the pradakshinam. The entrance also is descent from road level. So elderly and leg, back problems take care.

It is rare to come across temples dedicated to goddess Saraswathi. I was blessed to have accidentally come across this to have her most esteemed blessings.

Divine old aesthetic temple... a priest is usually assisting for vidyarambham.. can be done on all days. As we gone early morning @ 6 , we didnt had to wait at all. Timing for vidyarambham 6_ 10Just we have to pay 150 RS for one vidyarambham at temple office. Then we have to collect Prasad from Vishnu temple and then move to saraswati nada. After prathakshinam around the saraswati nada the priest will do vidyarambham for child. Don't think the priest will accept any amount you give.. he has a minimum rate of Rs.250 as told by him( as on September 2023) .
