Great view of ocean from both the sides of bridge. Best sunset scene of my life. It's a great brilliant engineering marvel, pride of India. Wonderful view of Arabian Sea with beautiful blue color water, the fishing boats. The breeze from the ocean always blow there. There are lots of eagles flying above .It's such a photogenic place. Lots of vehicle stopping in middle of bridge for this view.
It's a one of a kind experience of life. I have never scene such a wonderful sunset in my life. The sea shore and the atmosphere around the bridge was so mesmerizing. Such a beautiful sight , it relaxed our 14 hours long journey with its beautiful scenic view.
Iconic bridge of Rameswaram. When you visit to Rameshwaram you need to stop here to get the magnificent view of the ocean and the old railway bridge. Officially you cannot stop or park the vehicle over the bridge. But cops do allow you to stop and get photos for sometime and then they ask you to move. Please park your vehicles responsible way. The view from the bridge is awesome
How would anyone not rate this place at its best. This place is a pride of India and a sure shot serves for first time viewers. In simple words it's just a bridge on the sea. Trust me it's not only that. Please stand in the middle of the bridge (over the footpath though) and spend some time. One side you'll have a sea view with a rail bridge and the other side will have country fishing boats with a sea view.
It's a great engineering structure. The beauty of the Arabian Sea from that bridge is a heaven-like experience. In every direction it's only blue and blue. Hundreds of boats were sailing near the bridge. We experienced the view of the train crossing the bridge. The bridge connects the Indian mainland with Rameshwaram Island. This 2.2 Km bridge with a train crossing over it is a spectacular view.
Amazing view you can get on this bridge. One side is the Bay of Bengal and the other side is the Indian Ocean. There is the old railway track which is being closed for now and next to it is the new one which is being built. People stop their vehicles on the bridge for sightseeing but police men will come and chase you away, particularly non-TN vehicles.
It was an absolutely amazing experience standing on this bridge and watching ancient Marvels made by us. As said , this is the only bridge that connects the entire Rameshwaram Island town to the mainland of India. This was one of the longest suspension bridge of India after Bandra worli sealink. The bridge has footpaths on both the edges for the people to stop and enjoy the view around. It's mesmerizing to see the iconic rail bridge on one side of the bridge and local fisherman's boats on the other side of the bridge. This place sets as a good backdrop for clicking some pictures for photography enthusiasts.
Pamban Bridge is a railway bridge that connects the town of Mandapam in mainland India with Rameswaram on Pamban Island. Opened on 24 February 1914, it was India's first sea bridge, and was the longest sea bridge in India until the opening of the Bandra-Worli Sea Link in 2010. The rail bridge is, for the most part, a conventional bridge resting on concrete piers but has a double-leaf bascule section midway, which can be raised to let ships and barges pass through. In 1988, a road bridge was also constructed parallel to the rail bridge. This road bridge is also known as Annai Indira Gandhi Road Bridge.Nice place, and great view of sea from both side. W
Ultimate experience We went 2 times there through our visit, during sunrise & sunset. I would love to visit this bridge again. I just stand there by the bridge and watching boats, coconut tree, watching waves felt good i wish we can go there by train
One of the most unique experience I have had, the coral reef was beautiful, the price was optimal and the gear was comfortable. The best thing is that the instructors were kind and trained us well. Truly the best 1.30 hours I spent in rameshwaram.
Coral Casita Beach Resort offered an unforgettable escape for me and my 9 friends during our 2-day stay. The pristine, white-sand beaches and crystal-clear seas provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation. The resort's luxurious rooms and suites add
